An awareness programme on Cyber Security was organized at A.M. Reddy Engineering College(Autonomous) in Petlurivaripalem. College Secretary Smt. Atluri Shanthi Srinivasa Reddy and Principal of Engineering College Dr. CH. Mallikarjuna, Diploma Principal Dr. K. Krishna Reddy, HODs of all departments, other faculty and students participated.

Sri Kothapalli Pradeep was the guest of honour for the event. He is National Security Database Certified Cyber Crime Intervention Officer. On this occasion, Shri Kothapalli Pradeep explained the increasing intensity of cyber crimes. In today's technological age, cyber security is important to protect personal security. Apart from creating awareness on cyber crimes, clear guidelines have been given to students about the precautions and basic measures to be taken to prevent them.

Speaking on the occasion, College Secretary Smt. Atluri Shanthi Srinivasa Reddy said that such initiatives will play a key role in raising awareness on cyber security among the students. Principal of Engineering Dr. C.H. Dr. Mallikarjun, Diploma Principal, Dr. K. Krishna Reddy also expressed his views on the importance of cyber security.
